During the first two months of 2010 UCRF provided more than 730 permits for the importation from abroad, 1,227,677 mobile phones, these figures have been published deputy chief of the Ukrainian State Center of Radio Frequencies for radio-electronic means, and emitting devices Vladimir Kirichenko, - the press-service UCRF. 

Almost twice the increase in the number of issued permits, compared to 2008, facilitated by the introduction of new regulations in Ukraine import and sale of RECs and individual entrepreneurs. 

Among the main innovations is the creation of an automated accounting system of mobile terminals in the territory of Ukraine (ISOMT), which was put into commercial operation May 29, 2009, - said V. Kirichenko This streamlined the process of registration permits for the import of RECs and individual entrepreneurs, as well as with Customs authorities to ensure the legality of the import of communications equipment in Ukraine. 

According to experts, legal import terminals in Ukraine in 2009 amounted to 85-90% (in 2006-2008. - 7-15%). Due to this the state budget received more than 535 million UAH.
